About Me

My name is Zach Roberts or Mr. Roberts depending on who you are!  I am a pre-service teacher at Western Michigan University.  I have a major in Secondary Education English and I have teachable minors in both communications and earth science.  I originated in Plainwell, Michigan, a nice, small town just north of Kalamazoo, Mi.

Why be a teacher?  I have a passion in helping students and contributing to the future of our beautiful country.  Fortunately, I find myself very relatable and flexible in talking with and engaging with people of all ages.  I love that I can contribute to the learning of every individual that walks through my classroom along with furthering my own learning and research in the community.  If my students are readers, writers, and speakers, than so shall I!

Although I am a teacher I am also a real person with a few hobbies.  I am a sports fanatic!  I love soccer, basketball, football, and hockey.  I do my best to get out and play as much as possible.  Before I knew what i wanted to do professionaly I knew that I was going to dabble into the coaching world.  I hope to eventually be a soccer or basketball coach for a high school!
